Gracias A Dos Guitarras

Doing my homework this morning for Spanish class tonight. 730am is a strange time to be revising imperatives, future and present subjunctives. I hadn’t studied the future tense in Spanish until last week but fortunately, my degree in Italian is turning out to be invaluable learning Spanish…

Am in a cafe in Earls Court listening to Dos Guitarras, a CD I bought from an Argentinian busker playing in a square outside Granada cathedral a while ago. It’s somehow managing to turn the grey, cold and wet London November morning outside into a gentle, warm and sunny place in this cafe. Well, in my head at least.

Thanks to Dos Guitarras, it’s going to be a good day. I hope he’s still around and I get to thank him when I’m in Granada from January.

Hope you have your own version of Dos Guitarras making the sun shine for you today…
